Artist Statement: Happy. Not flippant, but satisfying. Whether the gentle growth of a flower or the dynamic tracing of a trebuchet, Heather expresses the non-tangible. Her work is usually spontaneous except for color combinations that move her. She often hears, “I don’t normally like abstract work, but I like yours." If any brushstroke or scrape of Heather's palette knife awakens your emotions; a place you have never before been, that is enough.
