Artist Statement: Tacoma painter, Julia W. White is moved by images of anonymous, ordinary moments and all the mystery contained behind them. She is drawn to into the silent space where her imagination automatically creates a narrative. The ideas for her work originate in those moments and her focus is to communicate the sense of longing, curiosity and possibility that arise as she follows these threads of information and imagination.
