Artist Statement: Katie Dean is a printmaker who loves vibrant color combinations and I use natural themes as the foundation for most of my work. Recently, I’ve started incorporating figures in my work as a way to express a broader story. My primary mission is to enhance people’s lives through the beauty that inspires me every day. Many of my originals are used to create greeting cards, kitchen towels and fabric tapestries.
